| Senior hands-on Research Engineer required to help deliver grant programmes to grow a team pioneering a data driven, technology platform to monitor, quality assure, and reuse fresh concrete. Required Skills Good degree in Engineering or Materials science PhD in materials, sensors, or a relevant area Experience as a post doctorate researcher or similar experience Excellent documentation and data presentation skills Practical experimentation skills including designing and building experimental equipment LabVIEW or similar for data acquisition Python or MATLAB for scripting and data analysis Exposure to the properties of fresh concrete Experience with analytics on data stored in databases and streaming data sources Any CAD What you would be doing; Literature reviews and patents analysis. Grant portfolio management. Work with the mechanical and electronics teams to design temperature and load sensors. Set the direction for future research and identify grant opportunities |
