| Senior or Principal Firmware Engineer required to join and ideally lead an Electronic Motor Control and Motor Systems Research, Design and Development team. The successful candidate will have significant experience with Firmware and FPGA control system design and have the opportunity to move into a technical leadership role working on hybrid and electric high power motors and motor control systems. Skills FPGA design and verification experience with VHDL. FPGA tools and technologies such as Microchip, Xilinx, SoC, Modelsim, Matlab, Simulink. Configuration management experience of large complex FPGA designs. Principal or Senior level Firmware Engineer with over five years FPGA or ASIC design experience. Motor Control systems, sensing components, LVDT, Resolvers.
