| This is an excellent opportunity to work on PCB designs across a wide variety of technologies, including multilayer analogue. You will be responsible for the design and development of electronics and printed-circuit assemblies for automotive products. Responsibilities Design analogue and digital electronics, including PCB layouts, circuit symbols, and component footprints, while managing component libraries. Create technical documents like PCB fabrication and assembly drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing data. Verify and troubleshoot hardware designs using test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers. Requirements A degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or related engineering discipline. At least three years of experience in electronics and multilayer PCB design Two years recent experience using an enterprise level PCB design tool such as Cadence OrCAD Allegro or Altium Designer Up-to-date technological knowledge including high speed digital design. Good understanding of PCB signal integrity, impedance control, ESD mitigation and EMC compliance. Knowledge of RF and FPGA design techniques would be advantageous. A proven track record in both analogue and digital layout and design for test and manufacture. |
