| Senior Antenna Engineer required to join a Radar and maritime Solutions Algorithms and Research team with a focus on Antenna design, modelling and development, test and support of Radar Systems analysis and aspects for RF design and modelling. Requirements Design and development Experience at microwave frequencies of 3D printed and waveguide antennas. RF Component design and selection knowledge of RF filters, splitters, combiners and ideally rotary joints. Production understanding of near field scanning, compact ranges and anechoic chambers processes. Spectrum Analysers, Vector Network Analysers and RF test equipment fluency. High Power RF amplifier, Low Noise Amplifiers, Limiters, Circulators, Filters, Mixers and Phase Locked Loop usage knowledge, particularly modelling to support RF simulation advantageous. Antenna array System Design software modelling theory and design and test including slotted array and printed antennas. Altair RF, MATLAB, Python and AI, EMC, Regulatory compliance FCC, ITU or ETSI requirements. Responsibilities Lead antenna research and development. Maintain antenna design and test methodology and design data, including for product Improvements and obsolescence management. Provide technical detail to Algorithm Research, Systems, Hardware engineering teams, Supply Chain, Quality, Suppliers and Customers. Support antenna and RF designs and antenna Production Test facilities and methodologies. |
